Meermin shoes are made using french full grain calfs from some of the best tanneries in Europe. The Museum calf leather is made following ancient methods, handmade using only natural dyes to created the subtle, great & special mottled effect. Every skin of Museum calf is glazed by hand in order to have a very transparent & glossy finish.

This minimal single swept back monk is a contemporary version of the classic single monk, featuring a plain toe design that shows perfectly the beauty hues of the museum calf. All this handwelted on the contemporary almond toed OLFE last, and finished with long lasting pit tanned, single chestnut tanned leather soles.
